Benito, the youngest of 10 children from Los Angeles, has dedicated 40 plus years to serving his community as a volunteer and advocate. He empowers youth, supports seniors, and assists veterans. Through youth sports programs, he diverts kids from gangs, helping them excel and earn college scholarships. Benito connects seniors with training and jobs, and guides veterans to vital services. As VP of SEIU Local 99, he fights for workers' rights, uncovering leadership corruption. Benito educates and mobilizes Angelenos, urging them to reclaim their rights and participate in politics.
