The communications team's mission is to effectively convey the initiative’s message, goals, and benefits to stakeholders and the public. They use various channels such as  media, social media, public events, and community outreach, to engage with target audiences, build awareness, understanding, and shape opinion. They also handle crisis communication and manage the initiative's public image and reputation.

Janice has a degree in Gerontology from USC, and is retired from a career as a Social Worker, dealing with Alzheimer’s patients who live in poverty. Before that she was a paid political consultant and staffer. She has been on county and state commissions, was a delegate for George McGovern, and was on Jimmy Carter’s staff.

Jess Enos, a Southern California native and mother of three, became an advocate for educational reform following her husband’s medical retirement from the U.S. Air Force in 2019. Confronted with the shortcomings of the public education system, she made the decision to homeschool her children. That experience ignited a deep passion for parental rights and educational choice. In 2023, Jess joined AV Parents for Education and rose to lead the organization. Since then, she has been a tireless champion for the safety of children and the rights of parents. Grounded in her faith and driven by a strong sense of duty, Jess is committed to making a difference—fighting to get the Children’s Educational Opportunity (CEO) Act on the 2026 ballot and helping elect leaders who share her vision for meaningful change at the local and state level.
