College Affordability Summit Invitation

The California Student Aid Commission in partnership with the Riverside County Office of Education, the Education Trust-West, and the California Department of Education invite high school teachers, counselors and other K-12 stakeholders to attend the the 4th Annual California College Affordability Summit.

This professional learning event will equip attendees with the necessary information and tools to navigate the 2024-2025 financial aid application cycle. The event will take place on Nov. 7-8, 2023 at the Riverside Convention Center in Riverside, California.

Specifically, the Summit will focus on providing attendees with the resources to support students in completing the Better FAFSA and Better California Dream Act application, which will be rolled out in December.

More than 30 sessions will be offered covering topics such as challenges to student college success and support for undocumented students. Moreover, the Summit recognizes high schools with high rates of financial aid application completion, which is a state requirement for graduating seniors.
