Three California schools earn top civic award from chief justice, state superintendent

Three California schools received the Civic Learning Award of Excellence, a top achievement sponsored by Chief Justice Patricia Guerrero and State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond.

The schools are:

Maple Creek Elementary School in Clovis Unified, located in Fresno County
Dale Junior High School in Anaheim Union High School District, located in Orange County
Gilbert High School also in Anaheim Union High School District
